Meshh Social is a creative marketing business run by Sass, a lifestyle and beautiful spaces enthusiast with a successful visual merchandising and retail management background for several iconic Australian and international brands.

Sass grew up on the far North West Coast of Tasmania before leaving to travel extensively, living in Copenhagen, Melbourne and New Zealand before finally settling in Byron Bay in 2007. Here, she opened her own retail store and built a successful e-commerce store. She also embraced social media and blogging in their early stages, using them as tools to communicate her brand online.

However, when the global financial crisis hit, Sass had to pivot and left retail to focus on her passions: social media management, luxury travel and content creation. She didn’t look back. In recent years, Sass has become a passionate travel and boutique accommodation cheerleader, helping small businesses and entrepreneurial creatives effectively communicate their brand online.

These days Sass prefers to focus her time working with clients in Tasmania and Byron Bay and enjoys her best life with gyms, her favourite cafes, and the beach at her doorstep. Preferred mode of transport? A bike, of course!

Gemma

Gemma is an invaluable extension of the Meshh Social team. She is a proud West Coast Tasmanian, and a marketing consultant and strategist who has mentored hundreds of small businesses in the digital space.

In 2021, Gemma quit her corporate marketing role and 9-5 life to launch Tasmanian Wood Co with her father. She soon found that this suited her much more than board meetings. However, her enthusiasm for marketing and building better brands remained, which is how we managed to get her on board at Meshh.

These days Gemma works as a Marketing Consultant and agency director at Twin Moon Studio, consulting and coaching clients throughout Australia. Her background in business and marketing and passion for helping others makes her an invaluable professional to have in our back pocket.

When she's not working, you can find her in her beloved hometown of Marrawah or on the outskirts of Launceston, where she lives with her partner Jackson and their golden retriever Moose.
