Who is HENDRIX & Harlow?

HENDRIX & Harlow, a former Australian custom furniture business, was founded in Byron Bay in 2014. Known for their craftsmanship and ability to produce custom designs from concept to manufacturing for both residential and commercial works, as well as the maker’s distinctive Australian rustic timber style, the business thrived within the first 18 months reaching 7 figures in revenue by its 3rd year of trading. 

What was our mission?

The mission was to make a Byron Bay local start-up recognised as a trusted custom furniture maker nationally. 

What we achieved for our client?

We brought decades of retail, human behaviour marketing strategies and social media expertise to this family owned business, and tailored a launch and growth plan over a period of 3 years that helped them to achieve their branding and financial goals. Within this time, the business became profitable in its second year of trading and Vogue Living Australia recognised it as a must visit destination brand.

We established relationships and secured editorial features in leading interiors print and digital publications - Home Beautiful, Real Living, The Design Files and The Stylephiles and collaborated with Lisa Messenger and The Collective Hub resulting in a range of furniture and homewares being featured at The Collective Retreat.

What was our mission?

The mission was to create a personal brand for Mark and provide a platform to showcase his individual talents by sharing the creative process and unpolished stories from behind the scenes at the H&H workshop.

What we achieved for our client?

We studied Mark’s tone of voice and colourful personality to develop an authentic and engaging social media presence that honoured his sense of humour and down to earth character. We also created a fresh, clean website to showcase his talents.
